Wildcard Weekend

Not many shed a tear for the Patriots, but will the four wildcard winners survive the divisional round? A resounding No from me.

So what happened last week?

Predictions were 2-2 so not great – looking for 4-0 this week.

Bills 19 Texans 22

Closer than it should have been, and if the Texans perform like this in Kansas it will be no contest.

Titans 20 Patriots 13

The had the feeling of a dynasty ending – and this week another will finish as Tannehill gets whooped.

Vikings 26 Saints 20

I was impressed by the fitness of Cook, but I do not think he will get as much freedom in San Francisco.

Seahawks 17 Eagles 9

Seahawks did enough, but in the freezing cold of Lambeau they will need to show a lot more.

Divisional Playoffs preview

The benefit of a bye week plus home field advantage will come to the fore this week – as I expect all of the home teams to win.

Vikings at 49ers

49ers by 10

49ers much better equipped to stop Dalvin Cook than the Saints, and expect Kittle to shred the Vikings D.

Titans at Ravens

Ravens by 20

A blowout as the Ravens jump out to an early lead and the Titans never recover.

Texans at Chiefs

Chiefs by 10

Watson was poor for large parts of the game last week – the Chiefs will not be as forgiving and the hostile Arrowhead crowd will enjoy this one.

Seahawks at Packers

Packers by 5

Probably the closest game of the weekend – but expect Packers to hold on after building up a sizeable lead with Aaron Jones playing a major part.

Play Offs

I still have 3 of 4 AFC teams in the mix with the same in the NFC. Crunch time as we reach the final four.
